How it works

From first email to a live site

Five steps, mostly done by us. You tell us about your business, check what we make and say what to change.

Step 1: You get in touch

Reply to our email or write to us. We have a short call or a few emails about your business: what you do, who your customers are and what they need to find on your site.
Step 2: We build a draft

We design and build a first version of your site and write the text. If we contacted you first, there's often a sample already made for your business, so you can see the direction straight away.
Step 3: You ask for changes

You look at the draft and tell us what to change: texts, photos, colours, anything. Two rounds of changes are included.
Step 4: You approve, then pay

When you're happy with the site, you approve it. Only then do you pay, by card through Stripe.
Step 5: We put it live and look after it

We put the site live on your own domain. After that we look after it: hosting, security, updates and, on the monthly and yearly plans, small text changes.

What we need from you, and how long it takes

No logo or photos? That's fine. We design around what you have. We write the text ourselves; you only check it.

About 1–2 weeks after we get your content. Most of that time is the draft and your two rounds of changes.

If we contacted you with a sample made for your business, we start from that, so the first draft is ready sooner.

We'll agree a date with you when we start.

We keep your site online, secure and up to date. On the monthly and yearly plans, up to 2 small text changes a month are included: send us an email.
